Monday : Errands

SOTD > Chloe edp

I ran some errands today and I thought the day was gonna be windy and mellow so I opted for Chloe edp when I got ready in the morning. But lo and behold, when I got outside my apartment the sun was shining brightly and it was so hot and humid all day, so my Chloe got a little bit cloying. I may also sprayed too much of it in the morning - which then I regretted because you don’t spray a lot with Chloe as it can be overwhelming. I pitied those who met me during the day because I’m sure my perfume was a little bit too much for them in the hot humid day (oopss, sorry 🤭).

Tuesday : Starbucks, Cleaning/Rearranging

SOTD > Katy Perry Killer Queen

I spent my day rearranging my bags wardrobe and cleaning/rearranging my perfume rack. And then afterwards I did some blogging works while sipping my Spiced Pumpkin Latte that I got earlier from Starbucks. I chose to wear Katy Perry Killer Queen today because I haven't worn it in a long time and I was gonna make a comparison review between the Killer Queen and Zara Red Vanille on my blog, so I need to remember the scent correctly :) See my Katy Perry review here.

SOTE > Zara Black Amber

By night time the Katy Perry Killer Queen was completely gone. That one never lasts long on me. So I re-sprayed myself with a new perfume before spending time with H watching Modern Family on bed. I opted for the warm and comforting Zara Black Amber. This perfume to me is one of those Top 10 perfumes I must own - because it's a rare thing to love all the 3 phases of a perfume. And this is what happened between me and the Black Amber. This perfume already feels warm and very comforting from the opening notes up to the dry down. Always laff it!

Wednesday : Errands

SOTD > Versace Eros (1st trial)

Went out for a mini errand today, picking up my packages and did a short stop at the bakery for donuts 😜 I was contemplating on what to wear today but I finally made up my mind with a new purchase : Versace Eros. This was my first time wearing it and I immediately got a whiff of the core which is a soft powdery white florals scent with some citrus in the background. Actually it’s quite a nice fragrance (considering I blind-bought this because I just love the bottle hehe).

Thursday : Home

SOTD > Mugler Alien 

I have no schedule and only minimal to-do list today so I’m just staying home, so it’s perfect to wear any perfume that I like without having to worry to offence someone else's nose hehe. So I wore Thierry Mugler Alien today. test out new perfumes. There are only 3 notes in Mugler Alien but it is beast mode, I don't know how they do that. Anyway this is a soft powdery jasmine fragrance warmed up by amber. A beautiful scent.

Friday : Dinner with friends

SOTD > Tiffany by Tiffany & Co

We meet up with some friends in the evening for dinner at the restaurant. I chose one of my newest decant that I recently got : the new Tiffany perfume by Tiffany&Co. It’s a beautiful feminine floral scent but too bad it doesn’t last very long on me.

Saturday : Movies with girlfriends

SOTD > Mon Guerlain

I went to the movies with my girlfriends in the afternoon and a coffee hangout later in the day. Picking up perfumes for close encounters and controlled temperature rooms such as the cinema is not that easy because you don't want it to be too strong and annoyed the person you are sitting next to. I’ve watched videos on “perfume that are appropriate for office” because I think the situation is rather the same (where you cannot wear loud perfumes and risk offending other people's nose), and lots of them suggested Mon Guerlain. So that’s what I chose to wore today :) 

Sunday : Lunch with family

SOTD > Zara Black Amber

Sunday family day. We went for lunch with my parents in law. I wore Zara black amber again today because I’m craving for some warmth. Luckily today is not too hot so I can wear my warm scents during the day :)

> SOTD : Mon Guerlain (1st try out)

I totally revamped my wardrobe room and been rearranging and decluttering the room since yesterday. When I was decluttering I found some perfume samples that I haven’t even tried yet, so today I decided to try one of them. My pick is the Mon Guerlain. This is my first time trying it out. I like the opening and the mid notes, but not so sure on the base notes because it reminds me of another perfume very similar to this one (but I cannot recall which perfume it resembles). Will try this perfume again later on, as I’m still trying it out.

> SOTD : Coach edp 

I have some packages to be sent and some errands to do today, but nowhere fancy though. So I chose an easy going scent today which is the Coach edp. Always love the fresh floral opening of this one. I’m still contemplating whether or not I should buy the full size of this because it smells great and I really love the scent, but it just doesn’t last long under Jakarta’s hot weather. It does linger a little bit longer on clothing, but evaporates rather quickly on my skin especially when the weather is hot and humid (which is ehm, everyday weather..).

> SOTE : Miniso Meeting You

Because the Coach edp is not long lasting on me so I put on another perfume in the evening. I felt like getting the flu so I need a good night sleep, hence I chose the Miniso Meeting You because it is such a soft and delicate perfume. The fragrance is so soft and delicate it wont make me dizzy and would help me relax instead, so I can have a good night rest. This is my current fave going-to-bed perfume :)

> SOTD : L’eau d’ Issey

After watching Kathleen Lights perfume collection youtube video I want to revisit some of my old perfumes that I rarely wore. So I chose L’eau D’Issey today because I haven’t worn this in a long time. I usually wore this perfume (or the Burberry brit Rhytm) for workout class or when I do some sports because of the fresh aquatic notes in it. But I haven't workout for a looong time (LOL) and that’s why I haven't worn this perfume for a long time too ;) 

So glad I wore this today, it’s always lovely smelling something that you’re familiar with..

> SOTD : Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy

After rearranging my wardrobe room a couple days ago I managed to gather all my loose samples and put them in one container so that it would be easier for me to see and pick them out. Today I asked hubby to pick one sample for me from that container. I asked him to choose which perfume that he would like me to wear for the day. He sniffed a couple of the samples without seeing the name of the samples first, and chose one that he immediately likes. His sample choice was none other than Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy. I should’ve known better because he always drawn to that particular perfume, hehe... I have the full size bottle of Viva La Juicy and every time I wore it he always compliments me. So I guess his favorite perfume out of my collection is the Viva La Juicy :)

> SOTD : mix of Jo Malone Wild Bluebell & Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream

Went out for some errands today. I thought of mixing up my perfumes a little bit as I was new to this perfume layering business. I chose to layer Jo Malone Wild Bluebell & Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream. The result is a very fresh fruity floral scent. I think this mix brings up the floral notes even more, with the fresh MJ Daisy Dream scent lingering underneath. I kinda like it, although slightly a bit too floral for my taste, but I could enjoy it. I keep smelling the fresh florals, like I just got out of a heavily-scented flower bath.

> SOTD : Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Universalis Forte (1st try out)

Today we went to the cafe to meet up with our cousin in the afternoon. A short meet-up but still very happy to be able to make our time to catch up. The cafe we visited was also quite cozy and has a homey feel to it. I wore MFK Aqua Universalis Forte today. My first time trying it out (and my first introduction to MFK fragrances too!). Will review this soon but my 1st impression is : like the name suggests, this is a very fresh aquatic notes like a "rain shower" feels.

> SOTD : Creed Silver Mountain Water (1st try out)

Went to the Aeon mall to meet up with the family today. It was a nice sunday. After the mall visit we had sandwiches at Quiznos. I still think "Subway" is the best regarding sandwiches though (hehe). Anyway, I wore another "first time try-out" today: Creed Silver Mountain Water. I originally bought a vial of this for my hubby to try, but upon sniffing it on the paper card I just fell in love immediately with the scent. Then I decided that I should try wearing this one too!! Because I think this is the BEST Creed scent I ever smelled (oh wait, this and the GIT (Green Irish Tweed) are the two best Creed fragrances according to my nose hehe). Will review all the Creed fragrances we’ve tried so far soon!

Fragrance Rotation : Fall / Rainy Season 2019

Yuhuuu... sudah mulai masuk musim hujan niihh... Kalau di negara 4 musim sekarang sudah masuk musim gugur alias Fall Season alias Autumn. Kalau di Indonesia lebih tepatnya musim pergantian antara musim panas ke musim hujan kali ya, karena musim hujan disini datangnya kurang lebih bulan October/November sampai February/Maret.

Karena musimnya mulai berubah maka temperature cuaca pun mulai turun. Yang tadinya sehari hari puanas buangett sekarang temperature mulai turun sedikit. Matahari masih terang tapi nggak sepanas biasanya. Sesekali juga turun occasional rain. Dan biasanya kalau cuaca mulai berubah maka rotasi parfum saya pun mulai berubah hehe...

Karena wangi parfum itu berbeda beda, maka parfum itu ada yang lebih cocok dipakai di musim panas, ada yang lebih cocok di musim dingin. Ada juga yang cocok dipakai di segala musim. Dan seperti biasa, karena saya nggak pengen parfum saya cuma jadi pajangan (yang terus kalo nggak dipake lama lama kadaluarsa dan akhirnya malah gak bisa dipake - jadi buang buang duit toh?), jadi saya pun selalu berusaha untuk memakai semua parfum saya alias sering di-rotasi. Nah post kali ini adalah parfum pilihan saya yang akan sering saya pakai di musim gugur kali ini.

Menurut saya parfum-parfum ini wanginya cocok dipakai di musim gugur atau di pergantian musim seperti sekarang ini. Untuk musim gugur saya lebih prefer wangi gourmand atau wangi makanan yang manis seperti karamel, chocolate, sugary sweet, termasuk vanilla dan kawan kawannya. Sementara untuk winter saya lebih prefer wangi yang lebih berat dan spicy. Juga wangi kayu-kayuan seperti cedarwood, pine, dan semacamnya. Jadi untuk pilihan rotasi saya untuk musim gugur kali ini ada beberapa yang aroma gourmand. Selebihnya adalah aroma yang hangat, warm tapi nggak terlalu berat seperti aroma winter.


So here are my picks for this year's Fall/Autumn/Rainy Season :

Marc Jacobs Decadence
One of my fave perfume for this weather, MJ Decadence selain botolnya yang unik dan mewah wanginya juga cukup unik. Opening wangi buah plum yang matang, dengan middle notes white florals yang sedikit powdery dan dry down yang hangat, parfum ini jadi salah satu pilihanku kalau mau pergi keluar rumah khususnya sore / malam hari.

Zara Black Amber
Another favorite perfume of mine for this weather, Zara Black Amber emang paling cocok dipakainya di musim kaya sekarang ini. Dipakai dari pagi juga nggak masalah karena wanginya bukan tipe yang berat gitu. Wangi yang cukup unik di hidung saya, but I just can't get enough of it!

Zara Red Vanilla
Parfum Zara yang ini juga lebih cocoknya dipakai untuk musim yang cuacanya agak dingin seperti sekarang ini. Dan lebih cocok lagi kalau dipakainya pas malam hari. Wanginya hangat dan sungguh bikin nyaman, seperti diselimuti vanilla di depan perapian :)

Balmain Ivoire
Walaupun saya suka banget wanginya, tapi parfum ini termasuk yang aroma-nya agak "berat" jadi saya hanya pakai ini khusus untuk parfum malam hari dan acara spesial aja. Wanginya tahan lama, sillage dan projection nya keluar banget, dan aroma nya sungguh elegan dan classy. Berasa ladylike banget kalau pakai ini. Tapi karena saya hanya bisa pakai pada malam hari dan untuk acara yang agak spesial saja maka parfum ini jarang terpakai, dan sepertinya nggak habis-habis padahal tiap tahun saya selalu pakai untuk musim dingin hehe...

Tom Ford Violet Blonde 
Ini juga masih sama dengan pilihan rotasi tahun lalu, tahun ini saya masih mau mencoba pakai parfum ini lagi untuk Fall/Rainy season. Ini sebenarnya hasil salah beli blind buy karena tertukar sama wangi Tom Ford yang lain. Pas dicobain ternyata ini powdery banget wanginya - which I don't really like. Dan karena aroma powdery yang agak kuat tersebut maka saya hanya berani pakai parfum ini di musim dingin seperti sekarang ini, supaya wangi-nya nggak terlalu kuat tercium hidung saya berhubung saya pribadi kurang suka wanginya. This will be my last try-out for this perfume, if I still can't get along with it then I will give this to my mom instead :)

YSL Black Opium
Salah satu parfum people-pleaser alias parfum yang kebanyakan orang pasti suka wanginya, parfum jenis gini biasanya nggak pernah salah. Bisa dipakai kapan aja, pagi atau malam hari, dan bisa untuk occasion apa aja. Banyak yang bilang ini ada wangi kopi nya tapi entah kenapa aroma kopi nya nggak keluar di kulit saya, malah aroma licorice yang keluar. Saya sebenernya suka sama wanginya tapi berhubung nggak tahan lama di kulit saya jadi saya sampai sekarang masih ragu mau beli full size nya hehe..

Serge Lutens Chergui
Ini juga masih masa try-out karena saya belum berhasil jatuh cinta sama parfum niche keluaran house of Serge Lutens ini. Wanginya sih unik banget, dan very spicy. I'm still not sure about this one but I think this perfume would also be suitable untuk cuaca dingin seperti sekarang ini karena type aroma-nya yang berat, spicy, deep, and a bit complex.

Monday, August 26 : Car Errands & Meet Up with In-Laws

> SOTD : Serge Lutens Chergui (try on)

Gotta get our car to the dealer this morning because they need to replace the airbag. Then at noon we went to meet up with hubby’s parents. I chose to try out Serge Lutens Chergui today. A unique scent that actually thrives more the longer I wore it on my skin. I’m gonna test this out again soon to gather my thoughts.

Tuesday, August 27 : At Home, Not Feeling Well

> SOTN : Blossoms Limon Glacé

I wasn't feeling very well today, looks like I’m about to have the flu (oh no!), so I need to pile up on the vitamin C and honey, and will probably took some rest today. To help me forget about the flu I went with something that smells good to my nose. I love this Limon Glacé from Blossoms perfume that I got from the souvenir store at Gardens by The Bay Singapore. I really love the bottle with the flower petals inside. And I didn't have a roll-on perfume, so thats why I bought it. This smells good to my nose but doesn't last that long on my skin. But it definitely lasts longer on my clothes. After the scent is long gone from my wrist I can still smell it on my clothes :)

Wednesday, August 28 : At Home

I don't have any outings to do today just some house errands and blogging. So I wore a simple perfume today, the Katy Perry Killer Queen. No special reason, just trying to finish this off. It’s a nice smelling fruity floral fragrance but I just don't feel anything special from it so I mostly wear this at home. I just want to finish this quickly so I can replace it with a new fragrance. 

Thursday, August 29 : Meet Up with my Friend

> SOTD : Jimmy Choo Flash

I’m meeting up with an old friend from elementary school today. We also went to the same junior high school. I wore a new casual white linen suit I just bought last Sunday from a bazaar and chose to wear Jimmy Choo Flash today. I feel like a modern successful woman when I wore Jimmy Choo Flash, LoL (I am so far from success, I just love to feel like it 😜).

Friday, August 30 : Meet Up with Cousins

> SOTD : L’Occitane Verveine 

I had a productive day today. Then in the evening I got a call from my cousin who asked me if we can meet up with her and her family for a quick impromptu because they were in the area close to where we lived. So I changed up quickly and sprayed some easy to wear fragrance which was the L’Occitane Verveine which is a Lemon Verbena scent. I felt like a citrus burst in the dark of the night, Lol.

Saturday, August 31 : House Cleaning

> SOTD : BCBG Max Azria 

Half day house cleaning today and then went out for a super late lunch. After lunch we did some photoshoots for the blog. I wore BCBG Max Azria today. Doesn’t have any specific reason, just felt like I haven’t sprayed this in a long time and I feel sorry for her being left out (;p)

Sunday, Sept 1 : Laundry Day & Quality Time with Mom

Sunday is laundry day. We also went to my mom’s house to visit her and see the new kitties! Our cat just had babies - they were so cute! For the sunny weekend day I decided to wear my Burberry Brit Rhythm, a fresh floral fragrance perfect for the clear day weather :)

There’s a new yoga class opens in my building yay! I just registered today and it starts this Saturday.

Anyway, I’m cooking spaghetti bolognese and rosemary-thyme chicken for dinner tonight. Yumm! Hubby really loves my rosemary chicken and he always asks for more, LOL. Been wearing Ralph Lauren Romance all day today because I want to finish it since it only has a few spritzes left!

We planned to watch a movie at the cinema tonight but unfortunately we missed the late afternoon show. So we end up eating McDonalds new spicy chicken which was super super hot-in-your-throat spicy!! For sotd I’m wearing Thierry Mugler Angel today to try it for the third time. More of my thoughts about this in my preview post!

> SOTD: Davidoff Cool Water

Retrieving my packages today! I got some new decants (and a couple vials for H). We then also went to the vegetable stall to buy some fresh produce but it was closed 😐 So we bought coffee at nearby stall instead..

Anyway Today was so effing hot and the only perfume that is suitable for this super duper hot sweltering day is Davidoff Cool Water. That’s the only thing on my mind when I finished my shower this morning. Coolwater on a hot bright day like this = superb👌🏼

> SOTD: Miss Dior Cherie

I just received my first ever Miss Dior Cherie in the mail today (along with another vial of Creed’s Aventus - H’s favorite) in the miniature bottle. I tried it immediately on my wrist and I think it smells lovely enough to wear daily but it would be more special for events and occasions. It’s one of those classic scent that you might probably already smelled before, but still it remains classy and sopshisticated. A timeless elegancy that lasts quite well on my skin. Will do a full review soon!

Friday, June 7

> SOTD: D&G 3 L’Imperatrice

So much to do today. Gotta prepare for my yoga class tomorrow (the last time I attended yoga class was years ago), and also there’s laundry to be done today, and I have to look for gifts for my nephews, and lastly I have to plan my outfit for the weekend (as I’m the type who plans their outfit early).

I’m wearing my new D&G L’Imperatrice today as it is so so so fresh and fruitful, perfect for the spring. I love this from the first spray!

Saturday, June 8

> SOTM: L’eau d’Issey

I did a 1.5 hours of yoga class this morning, and then went home to find that H cooked me lunch! Yay! Anyway I wore this L’eau D’Issey perfume from Issey Miyake for my workout class because this perfume feels very refreshing and uplifting. The green ozonic scent is invigorating, making my mind and body feels fresh too!

Then after lunch I did a thorough spring cleaning on my wardrobe room while H helped cleaned up the house. It was such a productive day, I feel so energised and upbeat especially when wearing D&G Light Blue on this hot sunny day.

> SOTD: Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy

Went to the cake shop & patisserie today because I’ve been wanting chocolate cake since last night when I accidentally browsed some cake shops. So we went and got a choco brownies cake. I wore the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy because it has a sweet gourmand aroma which I think is suitable for my cakeshop-mood today.

Fragrance Diary #1

Helloo...

Kali ini saya mau bikin blog series baru nih, judulnya "Fragrance Diary". Jadi sebenernya saya udah pernah bikin blog series Fragrance Diary ini di blog saya yang satunya lagi : Two Thousand Things (fashion & beauty blog). Tapi karena mau fokus soal perfume di blog ini jadi blog series tersebut saya mau pindahin kesini aja. So untuk seterusnya series Fragrance Diary ini akan tayang di blog yang ini :)

Sooo buat yang gak ngikutin blog Two Thousand Things atau buat yang belum tau tentang Fragrance Diary, jadi di blog series ini isinya "ceritanya" adalah mini diary keseharian saya + pilihan parfum yang saya pakai hari itu. Jadi kurang lebih tentang rotasi parfum yang biasa saya pakai dalam seminggu. Karena saya orangnya suka gonta-ganti parfum (biar parfum saya terpakai semua nggak ada yang dianggurin) maka biasanya saya suka rotasi parfum setiap harinya (depending on occasion, mood, style baju atau cuaca hari itu). Eh tapi ini bukannya sombong loh ya, tapi memang kebetulan saya koleksi parfum karena saya suka sama yang serba wangi-wangi gitu, dan kebetulan saya juga punya banyak sample parfum karena kan memang berniat koleksi, nah jadinya saya punya lumayan banyak pilihan untuk dipakai sehari-harinya. Dan alasan lain saya suka ganti-ganti / rotasi parfum karena supaya semua parfum saya terpakai, jadi bukan pajangan doang gitu lho hehe.. Oya, saya pakai parfum setiap hari walaupun cuma di rumah aja (kecuali lagi sakit atau lagi kerja rodi beberes rumah 😉).

PS : Khusus untuk Fragrance Diary ini mohon maaf kalau saya pakai bahasa Inggris, alasannya bukan karena sok keminggrisan tapi lebih karena saya malas translate lagi hehe (karena ini aslinya adalah "mini diary" yang saya tulis di notes HP, jadi intinya saya malas translate dan maunya copy-paste ajah hehe Maapkann... )

Too tired to function today because we just got home late in the evening yesterday from out of town, so I spent today mostly resting on my bed. So no perfume for today.

> SOTE : The Body Shop White Musk

I end up being a little bit unwell, maybe because my body is still tired from last weekend’s trip and I think I caught a flu bug too. Hubby also not feeling well so he didn't go to work today. We both spent the day resting at home and ordered delivery food. Still no perfume for today except for a little spritzes of TBS white musk before sleep (this is one of my "go-to-bed" perfume).

We’re feeling better today. H went to work and I spent the day behind my laptop, catching some late blogging tasks and replying emails. I spritzed on some Davidoff Coolwater to help me get in the mood for work.

Thursday, March 7

> SOTD : Abercrombie & Fitch 1st instinct

We planned to go to the cobbler again today, as well as the electricity store, but it was raining hard when we’re about to leave so we had to postponed it. The road was also fully jammed of traffic because of the rain, so we don't want to be stucked in the traffic at night anyway. So we ended up watching Jumanji 2 at home - which was so good and funny, we really enjoyed it. SOTD was Abercrombie 1st Instinct because I just love the simple scent of fresh soft goodness of it. I’m really thinking of buying the full size bottle now.

Friday, March 8

> SOTD : Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay

Tomorrow is a long weekend, yay! We finally went to the cobbler and electricity store today. And then we had lunch at "Thai Street", a new Thai restaurant in town, followed by 2 hrs of good karaoke! Haha.. I currently love most of the songs from The Greatest Showman on Earth movie. I didn’t know Wolverine could sing that well! Anyway my sotd for the whole afternoon was Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay, and it was the last spritzes of the vial tube. I better get the bigger bottle of this soon!

Anyway, later in the wee hours of the morning (at around 2 am) we went to the Big Bad Wolf Book Bazaar at ICE BSD. It’s an annual 24hrs book bazaar that opens non stop for a week or so, and after midnite is the best time to go if you want to avoid the heavy crowd. Anyway I changed up my perfume and wore Commodity Gold just before we left for the book bazaar. And you know what? Everybody smells good at the book bazaar. I kept on smelling nice perfumes on everybody else around me at the bazaar. I smelled different perfumes but I really enjoyed them all. Am I weird to be enjoying the smell of strangers that stands around me? Hehe..

Woke up late today because we just got home at 4:30 am last night from the Big Bad Wolf. Later in the afternoon we went to our grandma’s graveyard with my mom, then had early dinner at Soto Kudus (which brings back childhood memories when my aunt used to take me & her only daughter to eat soto kudus whenever I slept over at their house). I wore Chloe edp because that’s one of the perfume that would last long on me, from morning til night. It’s defo one of my fave.

> SOTD : Abercrombie & Fitch 1st Instinct

Went to my in law’s house today and then we all went out to Alam Sutera for a chinese food lunch, followed with coffee at Starbucks (and a little shopping spree at Miniso & Cotton On!). Then we also went grocery shopping around late afternoon with my bro n sis in law. I wore Abercrombie 1st instinct in the morning and forgot to change my perfume when we go out. I usually opted for something stronger whenever I go out and this Abercrombie is rather a soft fresh scent that I think would be too subtle to wear to busy places (such as malls and big supermarkets) because then you won’t even smell your own fragrance. I went home with some shopping bags though! So, still happy .. :) LOL

Fragrance Rotation : Fall / Winter 2018

Walaupun koleksi parfum saya belum banyak tapi mungkin jumlahnya lebih dari cukup. Dan supaya semua parfum kebagian dipakai dan nggak cuma dipajang ngumpulin debu aja jadi saya suka rotasi pemakaian parfum saya dari waktu ke waktu. Biasanya sih kalau pergantian musim. Jadi pilihan parfum yang saya pakai pada musim panas biasanya beda dengan pilihan parfum yang saya pakai di musim dingin / musim hujan seperti saat ini. Karena parfum memang ada beberapa yang cocok dipakai untuk summer saja, dan ada juga parfum yang wanginya lebih enak kalau dipakai pas musim dingin.

Nah, berhubung sekarang sudah berganti musim dari musim panas ke musim hujan alias musim dingin, maka rotasi parfum saya pun ikut berubah. Dengan rotasi penggunaan parfum seperti ini parfum-parfum saya jadi terpakai semua. Dan saya juga jadi tau kalau ada parfum yang mungkin saya nggak suka wanginya baik di musim panas maupun di musim dingin.

Dan untuk musim dingin kali ini, berikut adalah pilihan parfum yang akan saya pakai selama beberapa bulan ke depan :

Pada rotasi parfum kali ini saya hanya memilih satu botol full size parfum dari koleksi saya, yaitu Ivoire by Balmain edp. Saya pilih parfum ini karena botolnya masih penuh! Hehe.. Walaupun saya punya ini sudah agak lama tapi ternyata isinya masih penuh saja. Jadi target saya adalah untuk memakai parfum ini sehingga jumlah liquidnya berkurang di botol. Karena sayang juga kalau parfum ini jarang dipakai alias masih penuh terus. Target saya adalah memakai semua parfum saya sehingga tidak buang-buang produk, dan kalaupun ada yang saya jarang pakai karena tidak suka wanginya, akan saya jual atau mungkin barter dengan sesama pecinta parfum.

Anyway, untuk wangi Balmain Ivoire ini sendiri adalah wangi yang memang cocoknya untuk musim gugur atau musim dingin, karena wanginya agak sedikit "berat", heavy powdery, tapi juga elegant dengan aroma floral nya. Kalau summer biasanya saya pakai ini untuk acara malam hari, tapi kalau musim dingin saya bisa pakai ini di siang / malam hari. Sementara itu, pilihan parfum ku yang lainnya untuk rotasi musim dingin kali ini adalah :

• Tom Ford Violet Blonde (decant bottle)
• Aquolina Pink Sugar Sensuelle (decant bottle)
• Serge Lutens Chergui (miniature bottle)
• Gucci Guilty Intense (vial)
• Thierry Mugler Angel (vial)

Semuanya dalam botol yang lebih kecil. Ada yang di botol decant (10ml), ada yang di botol miniature (5ml), dan sisanya adalah botol sample vial (biasanya sekitar 2ml).

Tom Ford Violet Blonde
My first Tom Ford perfume. Dan karena yang tersedia decant nya waktu itu cuma si Violet Blonde ini jadi yaudah ku beli saja daripada nggak ada hehe Tapi pas pertama kali cium aromanya saya kurang suka sebenernya, karena agak berat dan powdery. Apalagi waktu itu saya beli nya pas musim panas, alhasil wanginya malah bikin pusing. Tapi karena sekarang musim dingin jadi wangi yang powdery dan velvety seperti ini sangat cocok dipakai saat ini. Wanginya jadi tidak terlalu heavy, melainkan jadi warm dan sedikit creamy. Overall wanginya memang bukan tipe favorit saya tapi saya akan memakainya di musim hujan ini karena saya benci buang buang parfum apabila tidak dipakai :)

Aquolina Pink Sugar Sensuelle
"Sweet and powdery" adalah dua kata yang terpikirkan ketika mencium parfum ini pertama kali. Sebenarnya pengennya yang Aquolina Pink Sugar namun apa daya waktu itu stok nya habis terus, dan yang ada cuma si Pink Sugar Sensuelle ini. Katanya sih antara Pink Sugar dan Pink Sugar Sensuelle ini wanginya sebenarnya mirip, hanya saja yang Sensuelle lebih sedikit "mature" sementara Pink Sugar lebih ke arah teenage girl yang ceria gitu. Untuk yang Sensuelle ini saya sih suka-suka aja, tapi lebih suka pakainya malam hari karena aroma nya yang powdery.

Serge Lutens Chergui
Ini bukan Serge Lutens pertama saya tapi ini adalah Serge Lutens saya yang terbaru. Sebenarnya ini hasil salah beli. Saya aslinya mau beli yang Musc karena saya suka wangi musk, tapi seller nya salah kirim dan malah mengirimkan ini. Karena saya malas harus kirim balik tukar barang jadi akhirnya saya biarkan saja si Chergui ini menghiasi meja rias saya. Hitung-hitung mau koleksi Serge Lutens walaupun di botol mini hehe Ini wanginya agak unik dan definitely bukan selera umum. Saya sendiri bingung mau deskripsikan seperti apa. Mungkin nanti saya akan buat post sendiri untuk ini, tapi yang pasti wanginya very powdery, heavy, and deep. Cocok untuk musim dingin dan dipakai ketika hujan deras yang lebat.

Gucci Guilty Intense

A sharp opening with floral heart and soapy creamy dry downs. Parfum ini lumayan banyak fans-nya. Ini salah satu parfum yang menurutku cocok dipakai kala musim dingin. Karena waktu saya coba ini pertama kali itu ketika musim panas dan hidungku gak cocok sama wanginya. Agak menusuk hidung terutama pada saat wangi awalnya. Semenjak itu saya nggak pernah pakai lagi. Tapi pas dicoba lagi di musim dingin ini ternyata wanginya jadi enak, nggak menusuk hidung, dan jadi creamy floral. Ada kesan fresh nya juga di middle notes nya. Sekarang saya pakai terus karena dia termasuk ringan untuk dipakai sehari-hari :)

Thierry Mugler Angel
Sampai sekarang parfum ini masih antara love and hate bagi saya. Karena kalau mood nya tepat dan cuaca nya tepat parfum ini wanginya bisa enak sekali dan cukup unik tercium di hidung. Tapi ada kalanya parfum ini menjadi tidak menarik di hidung saya. Entah apa yang menyebabkan parfum ini bisa berubah-ubah, seperti mood saja! Tapi yang pasti saya lebih banyak pakai parfum ini ketika musim dingin dibanding musim panas. Dan kalau lagi mood saya bisa pakai parfum ini siang hari maupun malam hari ;) Kalian harus coba sendiri uniknya parfum ini,.
